If you’re asking yourself, “is that UConn’s former star player, Donnell Marshall at the Bullpen standing about 15 feet away from Katie?” the answer would be, quite simply, yes.
I did take a creepy paparazzi picture, but in my defense, I owned up to it. And, yes, he shook my hand. And I didn’t wash it for the rest of the night. (Mostly just because they only have Port-O-Lets at the bar, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. TMI? Too bad).
Sometimes, you get what you wish for!
And sometimes, that’s a very good thing! Big East and NCAA Champs. I knew 2011 was going to be a good year. It’s been a good run, boys. So maybe it didn’t end in the prettyiest of ways (lowest scoring first half in a NCAA Championship since 1945 and lowest winning score since 1949!), but it sure had the right end result.

I actually think it’s playing hard again,” Calhoun said. “People in life, and basketball, too, I think let things dissuade them from being good or take away some of their energy or confidence.
